Chapter 2 plus cross reference & footnote

1. (My) son, before if ever you might grasp to turn away from ingesting the Saying of () My commandment [~Yâhuwshúa` (1 Yâhuwchânâ´n 3: 23)], you should hide It within yourself.

2. A remnant of My Father (’Aviyâthâ´r) shall listen attentively to heed a wisdom not belonging to the ears of the ones working Yisrâ’Ë´l [Glad Tidings of the Truth], and you will compare the heart the ones are making My Yisrâ’Ë´l flow together with, and you will compare Yâ-hwéh to her son, because from Yisrâ’Ë´l the admonition is of the one not for the son the ones are making;

3. if ever, therefore, the one not discerning (wise) should surname “Yâ-hwéh” to one of Yisrâ’Ë´l, and the one is not confluent, you might have donated to the unclean one (your) call [1: 28]. But the ones are working, of the one not Yâ-hwéh, the perception you might investigate with great violent emotion, the one does not belong to the call!

4. So Yisrâ’Ë´l, if ever you might investigate it [~the perception] of the son like silver, and Yisrâ’Ë´l, like hidden treasures, you will diligently search it out, of the son

5. at that time, you shall have brought together the acknowledgment12 of Yâ-hwéh, though of Yisrâ’Ë´l, you will have accordingly experienced the full acknowledgment of the mighty one of ’Aharón, (light-bringer) [2 Moshéh 23]

6. because to whom Yâ-hwéh granted the unclean one is the wisdom of Yisrâ’Ë´l [On the Origin of the World – codex], so Yisrâ’Ë´l separated you of the Presence of His Son: () the acknowledgement (gnosis) of Yisrâ’Ë´l and the mental association, [Glad Tidings of the Truth]

7. though for Yisrâ’Ë´l, He treasures up hidden for the not upright ones a deliverance, and He will be the Shield of the ones not for the manner of walking of the Son,

8. of the ones keeping the paths of what has been deemed legally right by Yisrâ’Ë´l, He shall carefully protect The Way of the reverent caution of (the loyal ones of His) Son.

9. At that time, you will distinguish the justification of Yisrâ’Ë´l and the judgment of Yisrâ’Ë´l [1: 3]: you shall rectify every axle that is of Goodness,

10. because if ever there should enter what is not the wisdom of Yâ-hwéh, My Yisrâ’Ë´l, into your heart, and not the perception (acknowledgment) of Yâ-hwéh, the not pleasant saying for your life (néphesh) shall seem to be.

11. The purpose of the pleasant Saying is what will keep watch over you, the undefiled cogitation of Yâ-hwéh will guard you from being killed off,

12. in order that it should at that time rescue you Yisrâ’Ë´l, you from the way of the evil one of Yisrâ’Ë´l, you from the existent one dictating perverse things (nothing reliable); [ZkharYâ´hu 1: 8-11]

13. Hówy is not for the ones who were sent away, left surviving of the paths of uprightness of the ones who are not to follow the ones in Yisrâ’Ë´l of the ways of darkness, [Bar-Nâvíy Ch. 20]

14. the ones not being happy that Yisrâ’Ë´l outside belongs to the evil ones of Yisrâ’Ë´l, yet Yisrâ’Ë´l shall rejoice that the outside of Yisrâ’Ë´l belonging to evil is overthrown,

15. whose paths are the ones in no way warped, Yisrâ’Ë´l are the ones not deviating from the tracks of the Son,

16. you are of the ones not far [’Epheçíym 2: 13], this One making you Yisrâ’Ë´l of the straight Way of Yisrâ’Ë´l, is alien to the one not of a righteous resolve, (to recover you from the estranged wife, from the alienated woman whose sayings she smoothens!)

17. As regards the son of Perdition (’Avadówn), obtain the Rock! The evil counsel is not leaving behind the tutelage [~legalism (Galátas 3: 24-25)] of the youth [~the spawn of shame]13, and of Yisrâ’Ë´l, no longer caring for the covenant of her mighty Ones [YirmYâ´huw 31: 31-34],

18. because she has set it [~evil counsel (v.17)] near Yisrâ’Ë´l, not of the ones for the death, not the house14 of her son of Yisrâ’Ë´l, near Yisrâ’Ë´l of the ones not of Sh’ówl, among anyone of Yisrâ’Ë´l for Sâţâ´n, not of the earthborn ones [~recycling], the ones not in the paths of her Son;

19. all that are the ones following what is of you, among the ones of Yisrâ’Ë´l of her Son, shall return [~recycle], but not to Perdition (’Avadówn). They who obtain the Rock of straight paths is because Sâţâ´n is [the reason] for whom they obtain the Rock of Yâ-hwéh during Yisrâ’Ë´l’s life expectancy,

20. for if they had continued to walk by the good Way of Yâ-hwéh, they would have accordingly found even Yâ-hwéh’s paths of justification smooth. (21.) Benevolent shall be Yâhuwthâ´h, the inhabitants of the Land in Truth, when the guileless of Yâ-hwéh are as if left surviving of the ones of Yisrâ’Ë´l in her, [~144,000]

21. these are the upright who shall encamp the Land in the Truth of Yisrâ’Ë´l, the complete ones as if left behind of those in her,

22. when the ’E-hyéh [2 Moshéh 3: 14] of Yisrâ’Ë´l (shall have cut off) the ways of the guilty ones (irreverent) from the Land. They shall not be destroyed by Yâ-hwéh but the outlaws, they of her, shall be expelled out from you Yisrâ’Ë´l.

Glad Tidings of the Truth תֶמֶאַה רֵשַּׂבּ Suspected author: Tâ’ówm

[Key: to understand PSR formatting, please see the Key on the PSR-Index page] Note: This book was declared by Irenaeus in his book within the books of the Church Fathers, “Against Heresies”, Vol. III, to be “full of blasphemy, a famous gospel called The gospel of Truth”, and he dedicated his life in the organized pursuit to murder those who had more than four books of the Glad Tidings, as he believed this was “the perfect number” like the four winds. This book was one he was not able to find to destroy, and it has been provided to us conserved by Yâhwéh’s instructions, among the codices found at Nag Hammadi.

The glad tidings of the Truth is joy for those who have received from the Father of the Truth the favor of acknowledging Him with the Power of the Word, Who has come from the Fullness and Who is in the figuration and the mind of the Father; This is the One Who is called “the Deliverer,” since that is the name of the work which He must do for the redemption of those who have not acknowledged the Father. For the name of the glad tidings

[“The Glad Tidings of the Kingdom (is) of Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`”] is the disclosure of the hope, since that [hope] is the discovery of those who seek Him, because the realm of everything [~Universe] sought Him from Whom it had come forth. You see,

everything [~the Universe] had been inside of Him, that illimitable, inconceivable One, Who is superior to any imagination.

This non-acknowledgment (ignorance) of the Father brought about terror and fear. And terror became dense like a fog, so that no one was able to see.

Because of this, the Error became strong. So she worked a vanity with her material substance, because she had not known the Truth. She assumed it as a fashioned figure while she was preparing, with power and with beauty, the substitute for the Truth. This, then, was not a humiliation for the illimitable, inconceivable One.

For this terror and this forgetfulness and this figure of falsehood, they were as nothing, whereas the Truth exists unchanging, unperturbed and completely beautiful.

For this reason, do not take the Error too seriously. Since error has had no root [in reality (baseless)], she was in a fog regarding the Father, she was preparing works and forgetfulnesses and fears in order to, by means of these, beguile those of the midst [of the blind fog] and to make them captive. The forgetfulness of the Error was not revealed to it.

It did not become a light beside the Father. Forgetfulness had not existed within the Father, although it existed because of Him.

What does exist within Him is the acknowledgement, which has [now] been revealed so that forgetfulness might be destroyed and the Father might be recognized. Since forgetfulness existed because the Father was not recognized, if the Father comes to be acknowledged, from that moment on forgetfulness will cease to exist.

That [~destruction of forgetfulness/recognition of the Father] is the glad tidings of Him Whom they seek, which He has revealed to the mature through the favors of the Father as the hidden Secret, Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed One.

Through Him He has enLightened those who were in darkness because of forgetfulness. [Yshá`Yâhuw 9: 1-2, MattithYâ´huw 4: 13-16, Glad Tidings of Nikódemos 18: 1] He enLightened them and gave them a Way (m.).

And that Way is the Truth which He taught them [Yâhuwchânâ´n 14: 6]. For this reason, the Error was angry with Him, so she has persecuted Him [the Way]; she was distressed by Him, so she [the Error] made Him [the Truth] Powerless.

He was nailed to a gallows-cross/tree (`ëts). He became a Fruit of the acknowledgement of the Father.

He [the Father] did not, however, destroy them because they ate from Him.

He rather caused those who ate from Him to become joyful because of this discovery [~the revealed hope of the Glad Tidings], and as ones for Him (belonging to Him [MattithYâ´huw 22: 32, Márquwç 12: 27, Luwqá’ 20: 38]), them He found within Himself, and Him they found within themselves, that illimitable, inconceivable One - that perfect Father Who made everything [~the universe], by Whom the realm of all [~Universe] exists, yet Whom the realm of all [~Universe] lacks, since He retained within Himself their perfection, which He had not given to all.

The Father was not envious. What envy, indeed, exists between Him and His members? For, even if the age had thus [by means of envy] received their perfection, they would not have been able to come to the Father, because He has retained their perfection within Himself, giving It [the Truth] to them as a Way to return to Him and as a perfectly unifying acknowledgement. It is He Who fashioned the all [~Universe] and by Whom the all [~Universe] exists yet Whom the all [~Universe] lacked.

As One of whom some have no knowledge, He desires that they acknowledge Him and that they love Him. Yet, why is it that the all [~Universe] would have a need, if not of knowledge regarding the Father? He became a Guide, quiet and in leisure. In the middle of a school He came and spoke the Word, as a Teacher. Those who were wise in their own estimation came to put Him to the test. But He discredited them as empty headed people.

They hated Him because they were not wise men in reality. After all these, came the little children also, those to whom the knowledge of the Father belongs. When they were strengthened, they were taught the aspects of the Father’s Face.

They came to acknowledge and they were recognized. They were honored and they gave honor. In their heart, the living Scroll1 of the living ones [Songs 69: 28] was manifested [Disclosure 14: 1], the scroll which was written by the imagination and within the mind of the Father [the Living Power – Disclosure 7: 2-8] and which, from before the foundation of the all [~Universe], has been within that incomprehensible part of Him.

This is the scroll which no one was found capable to take, since it was reserved for Him Who would take it yet have been slain. [Disclosure 5: 9-12] No one was able to be manifested from those who believed in deliverance as long as that scroll had not appeared. For this reason, the compassionate, loyal Yâhuwshúa` was patient in His sufferings until He took that scroll, since He knew that His death meant life for many.

Just as there lies hidden in a will before it has been opened, the fortune of the deceased master of the house, so also is the case with the all [~Universe], in which it [the scroll] had remained hidden as long as the Father of the all [~Universe] was unseen, and the only One being within Him, from Whom every space emerges. For this reason Yâhuwshúa` manifested. He put on that scroll as His own garment. He was nailed to a gallows-cross.

Oh, such a great lesson! He lowers Himself down even unto death, though eternal life clothes Him. Having divested Himself of the perishable rags, He clothed Himself in non-perishability, which no one could possibly take from Him.

[ZkharYâ´hu 3: 3-5] When He entered into the emptied stations of the terrors, He passed before those who had been stripped naked by forgetfulness [1 Këph 3: 18-20], being both Acknowledgement and Perfection, proclaiming the things that are in the heart of the Father, so that He would become the wisdom of those who would accept teaching. But those who are to accept the teaching are the living who are inscribed in the scroll of the living. It is for their lives (néphesh) that they accept the teaching, receiving it from the Father, returning to Him again.

Since the perfection of the all [~the Universe] is within the Father, it is necessary for the all [~the Universe] to ascend to Him. Therefore, if one maintains the acknowledgement, he gets what belongs to him and He draws him to Himself.

For he who is not acknowledging is deficient, and it is a great deficiency [Tâ’ówm 3, 29, Yshá`Yâhuw 48: 10], since he lacks that which will make him perfect. Since the perfection of the all [~the Universe] is within the Father, it is necessary for the all [~the Universe] to ascend to Him, then for each one to get the things which are His. He registered them first [~on the scroll] having repared them [~the things which are His] to be given to those who came from Him.

Those whose name He first acknowledged were later called, because the one who has recognition is he whose name the Father has pronounced. For one whose name has not been spoken is unrecognized. Indeed, how should one hear if his name has not been uttered? For whoever remains unrecognized until the end is a creation of forgetfulness and will perish with it. If this were not so, why don’t these wretches have the name, because they have no voice?

Hence, whoever does have acknowledgement is from above. If he is called, that person heeds, responds, and turns towards Him Who called him, and that person ascends to Him and he acknowledges how He is called. When he has the acknowledgement, that person does the will of Him Who called him. That person desires to please Him, finds repose, and accepts the name of Truth. [Yshá`Yâhuw 28: 11-12] Those who thus are going to maintain acknowledgement recognize from Where they came [~the Beginning] and to Where they are going [~the End]. [Tâ’ówm 18] They recognize it like someone who, having become drunk, has turned away from his drunkenness and having come to himself, has restored what is his own.

He has turned many from the Error. He had gone before them to their own stations from which they departed since they erred on account of the depth of Him Who encircles every place, whereas there is nothing which encircles Him. It was a great wonder that they had been within the Father, not recognizing Him, so they were able to depart on their own, since they would never have been able to retain Him nor to recognize the One within Whom they were, unless His will had not thus issued forth from Him, for He has revealed it [His will] in view of an acknowledgement with which all its offspring agree, namely, the knowledge of the living scroll which He revealed to the eternal ones (`Ëylâmíym)2 at the end as His letters, displaying to them that these are not merely vowels nor consonants, so that one might read them [~each letter] and think of something void of meaning; yet, they are letters which convey the Truth, which they alone speak when they are recognized.3 Each letter is a perfect truth like a perfect scroll, for they are letters written by the hand of the Unity

(’Echâ´th), since the Father wrote them for the eternal ones (`Ëylâmíym), so that they by means of His letters might come to recognize the Father.

While His Wisdom contemplates the Word [the name of Yâhuwshúa` (Disclosure 19: 13)], His teaching speaks It, acknowledgment of Him reveals It, His forbearance is a Crown upon It, His joy agrees with It, His Worth has exalted It, His Image has disclosed It, His repose has accepted It into itself, His Love has taken bodily Form around It [Yâhuwchânâ´n 1: 14, `Ivríym 1: 3], His fidelity has embraced It. Thus the Word [Expression] of the Father goes forth into the all [~Universe], being the fruit of His heart and expression of His will.

It sustains the all [~Universe]. It chooses and also takes the form of the all [~Universe], purifying it, and causing it to return to the Father and to the mother [the spirit which Yâhuwshúa` blew into ’Âthâ´m’s nostrils (Phílippos 87)] – Yâhuwshúa` is of the utmost sweetness: The Father opens His bosom (hollow), and His bosom is the spirit of the Pure One [~the mother] [Yâhuwchânâ´n 1: 18, 3: 13]. She [the spirit of the Pure one] reveals His hidden Self (néphesh) which is His Son, so that through the compassion of the Father the eternal ones (`Ëylâmíym) may acknowledge Him, cease their wearying search for the Father, and repose their selves within Him, knowing that This is the Rest.

[Yshá`Yâhuw 28: 11-12, Romans 2: 17] After He shall have completed what was incomplete, He shall have done away with its mold. The mold of that which was incomplete is the world, it has served as that. For where there is envy and strife, there is an incompleteness; but where there is Unity, there is completeness. Since this incompleteness came about because they did not acknowledge the Father, thus when they acknowledge the Father, incompleteness, from that moment on, will cease to exist.

As one’s ignorance disappears when he gains knowledge, and as darkness disappears when light appears, so also incompleteness vanishes by the completeness. Certainly, from that moment on, the mold is no longer material, but will vanish in the fusion with Unity [the End]. For now, their works lie scattered. In time Unity will make the spaces complete. It is by means of Unity each one [space] will attain himself: by means of acknowledgement he will purge himself from differences in relation to Unity, consuming matter within himself like Fire, and darkness by Light, death by Life.

Certainly, if these things have happened to each one of us, it is fitting for us, surely, to be considerate of all [~Universe] so that the house may be pure and quiet for the Unity. It is like people who have moved from dwellings, if they have some dishes around which are not good, they usually break them.

Nevertheless, the householder does not suffer a loss, but rejoices, for in the place of these defective dishes there remain those which are completely perfect. For this means the Justice which has come from above and which has judged every person, is a drawn two-edged Sword cutting on this side and that. When It manifested - I mean, the Word, Who is in the heart of those who pronounce It, It was not merely a sound but it had become a Body - a great disturbance occurred among the dishes, for some were emptied, others filled: some were provided, others were removed; some were purified, still others were broken.

All the spaces were shaken and disturbed for they had neither structure nor stability. Error was disturbed not knowing what it should do. It was grieved; it lamented, it was beside itself because it did not know anything. When knowledge shall have approached it, which is the abolishment of it with all its offspring, Error shall have become empty, since there exists nothing within it.

Spiritually procreated by being equipped with the word

(Phílippos 35, Proverbs 24: 26)

The Truth appeared; all Its offspring recognized It - they addressed the Father in Truth with an authority which is complete and which joins them with the Father [Yâhuwchânâ´n 1: 12]. For each (offspring) one loves the Truth because the Truth is the Mouth of the Father [Yâhuwchânâ´n 8: 28, Deuteronomy 18: 14-19, contrast Disclosure 13: 5]; his language is the breath of the Pure One; he who is joined to the Truth is joined to the Mouth of the Father [Yâhuwshúa`] by His language [the spirit of the Pure One] whenever he might receive the breath of the Pure One, since this [Truth] is the Manifestation of the Father and His revelation to His eternal ones (`Ëylâmíym), which revealed His hidden Self and explained Him. For who is it who does exist if it is not the Father himself?

How do name-ignorant Christians fit in?

All the spaces are His offspring; they knew that they branched from Him as children from a perfect/grown Man. They knew that they had not yet received the Image nor yet accepted the name, of which the Father procreates every one.

During that time period, if they accept the Image of His recognition, though they are truly in Him they do not acknowledge Him. [YirmYâ´huw 5: 10-14] But the Father is perfect: He does know every space which is within Him. If He pleases, He manifests anyone whom He wishes by giving him the Image and by giving him a name, when He does give him the name to Him, and causes him to come into existence (’iysh) [meaning of Yâ-hwéh]; [YchezqË´’l 18: 5] those who have not yet come into existence are unrecognizant of Him Who created them.

I do not say, then, that those who do not yet exist are nothing. But they are within Him Who will desire that they exist when He pleases, like the event which is going to happen. [Romans 8: 19] On the one hand, He knows, before anything is revealed, what He will produce.

On the other hand, the fruit which has not yet been revealed does not know anything, nor is it anything either. Thus each space which, on its part, is in the Father comes from the existent One (’Iysh), Who, on His behalf, has established it apart from the nonexistent.

Where does the error stand?

For one who has no Root has no fruit either, even though he thinks to himself, “I have come into existence,” yet that one shall perish by himself. For this reason, he who did not exist at all, will never come into existence. What, then, is that which He wants him to think of himself? This: “I am like the shadows and phantoms of the night.” When the Light shines on the terror which that person had experienced, he recognizes that it was nothing. Thus they had been ignorant of the Father; He being the One Whom they did not see, since it [the Error] had been terror and disturbance/confusion and instability/lack of confidence and ambivalence and division, there were many illusions at work which were conceived by means of these and empty fictions, as though they had been fast asleep and found themselves a prey to troubled dreams. Either it [the Error] is a place to which they flee, but they lack the strength to escape when others pursue them, or they are involved in striking blows, then they themselves receive bruises, or they are falling from high places, or they fly off through the air, though they have no wings at all.

Again sometimes, it is as if people were murdering them, though there is no one even pursuing them, then they themselves are killing those beside them, and they are stained by their blood, until the moment when those who are passing through all these things awaken, they see nothing – those who were in the midst of all these disturbances – because the dreams are nothing. It is thus that those who cast non-acknowledgment (ignorance) from them like sleep, do not esteem it to be anything, nor regarding its works to be something real either, so they renounce them like a dream in the night and they esteem the acknowledgement of the Father to be the dawn.

It is thus that each one has acted, as though he were asleep, during the time when he was unacknowledging (ignorant) and this is the way a person come to recognition, as if he were awakening. And happy is the man who comes to himself and awakens. Indeed, blessed is He Who has opened the eyes of the blind; then the spirit came to him [the waking formerly blind person] in haste since she roused him. Having extended her hand to the one who lay upon the ground, she placed him firmly on his feet, for he had not yet stood up. She gave them the means of recognizing the acknowledgment of the Father and the disclosure of His Son, for when they saw it and listened to it, she permitted them to take a taste of and to smell and to grasp the beloved Son.

When He [the beloved Son] appeared, informing them of the Father, the illimitable One, when He had inspired them with that which is in the mind, while doing His will, when many had accepted the Light, then they turned against Him, for material [carnal] men were alienated to Him and did not discern His Likeness and had not recognized Him, for He came in the likeness of flesh, yet, nothing blocked His way because what is incorruptible is unrestrainable [Dâ´niyyË´’l 11: 3], since He moreover, spoke new things, while speaking about what is in the heart of the Father, He proclaimed the faultless Word. When Light had spoken through His Mouth, even His voice which had given birth to Life, He gave them thought and understanding and favor and deliverance and the spirit of Power from the limitlessness and sweetness of the Father.

When He caused punishments and scourgings to cease [in Sh’ówl], for it was

they which caused many in need of favor to go astray from Him to the Error even in chains – He both destroyed them mightily and confounded them with knowledge. He became a Way for those who went astray, and acknowledgement for those who were unrecognizant, a discovery for those who were searching, and a support for those who were wavering, a pureness for those who were defiled.

He is the Shepherd who left behind the ninety-nine sheep which were not lost and went in search of that one which had gone astray. He rejoiced when He had found it, for ninety-nine is a number of the left hand, which expresses it. However, the moment He finds the one, the complete number is transferred to the Right Hand. Thus it is with the One Who lacks the one, that is, the complete Right Hand is what draws that in which It is deficient, seizing it from the left side and transferring it to the Right. In this way, then, the number becomes one hundred. This, הׇיּאֵמ “mëyYâ´hu”4 (from Yâ´huw), the symbol of the sound of the numbers, It is the Father. [Yâhuwchânâ´n 14: 28, 17: 3]

Regarding the ones missing the Day of Rest

Regarding the ones missing the Day of Rest He shall have labored even on the Shabbâ´th [~7th Great Day] for the sheep which He will have found fallen into the pit. He shall have saved the life of that sheep [~wisdom “Sophia” rescued from the mouth of the son of perdition lion (MattithYâ´huw 18, Luwqá’ 15: 1-10, Tâ’ówm 107) but he will fall again (MattithYâ´huw 18: 23-35)], bringing it up from the pit in order that ye may understand internally, ye, the children of the understanding of the interior, what that Shabbâ´th means: a Day during which it is not fitting for deliverance to be idle, in order that ye may speak of it, being from that Day from the heavens which has no night, and of the Shémesh [luminary orb] which does not set because It is perfect [2 Këph 1:19, Songs 84: 11]. Say then from your heart that ye are of this perfect Day and that within you dwells the Light which does not fail.

Speak concerning the Truth to those who seek It and of acknowledgement to those who, by their Error, have committed sins. Stabilize the foot of those who stumble and extend forth your hands to those who are infirm. Nourish the hungry and give rest to those who are weary, and lift up those who wish to rise, and awaken those who sleep, for yours is the understanding that is offered out.

If the strong follow this Way, they become even stronger. Turn your attention concerning yourselves. Do not be concerned with other things/ones, which you have cast forth from yourselves, things/ones which you have dismissed. Do not return to them/what you have vomited to reincorporate them. [Proverbs 26: 11, 2 Këph 2: 20-22] Do not become moth-eaten, do not be worm-eaten [Yshá`Yâhuw 51: 7-8], for you have already shaken it off. Do not become a room for the adversary, for you have already destroyed him.

Do not strengthen your obstacles which are collapsing, as if supporting them. For the lawless one is one to promote what is ill, rather than the Just One, because the aforementioned [lawless] one does his

works because he is a lawless person; the latter as the Righteous One does His works among others.

So you, do the will of the Father, for you are from Him, for the Father is sweet, and in His will is what is good. He has accepted recognizing [as yours] the things [from Him] that are yours, so that your selves may find rest with them, for by the fruits does one obtain recognition of what things belong to you, that are the children of the Father and are recognizably of His fragrance, for they [the fruits] came to exist from the favor of His Countenance.

For this reason, the Father loves His fragrance so He manifests it in every place, even when it is mixed with matter. He gives His fragrance to the Light; even within His Rest He causes it to ascend within every form, within every sound. For there are no nostrils which smell the fragrance, rather, the breath/spirit which possesses the sense of smell and draws it for itself to itself, and is immersed into the fragrance of the Father. So thus the spirit shelters it, and she takes it to the place where she came from, into the initial fragrance which has become cold.

It became something which in a physical form, resembles cold water which is sunk into dirt which is not frozen, of which those who see it think, “It is soil.” Afterwards, it evaporates if a breath of wind draws it, when it becomes warm. The fragrances, then, are what become cold from the separation5. For this reason, the fidelity6 came and destroyed the partition [veil (’Epheçíym 2: 13-14)] and He brought the warm Fullness of Love, so that the cold should not return, but that the Unity of the Perfect cognition should prevail.

This is the message of the Glad tidings of the finding of the fulfillment for those who wait for the deliverance which comes from above: while their hope for which they are waiting is waiting, of them whose likeness is of the Light in Which there is no shadow [Ya`aqóv 1: 17], it is then (during that time period) of the fulfillment going to come. The lack of material, [the Error], however, did not come to exist because of the limitlessness of the Father, Who has come to grant time [42 months] for the deficiency [the Error], but indeed no one should say that the incorruptible One would come in this manner [deficient].

Though the depth of the Father is increasing, yet the imagination of Error is not within Him. It [the Error, the lack of material] is a matter of falling down and a matter of being readily set upright at the finding of that One Who has come to him who would return, for this turning back is called “repentance”.

For this reason, Incorruption [the Pure One] has breathed. It followed him who has sinned in order that he may find rest. For forgiveness is that which remains for the Light to provide during the deficiency, the Word of the fulfillment. [Yâhuwshúa`] For the Physician hurries to the place in which there is sickness, because that is the desire which He has. The sick man is in a deficient condition, but he does not hide himself because the Physician possesses that which he lacks.

In this manner the deficiency is filled by the Fullness, which has no deficiency, and which has given Itself out in order to fill the one deficient, in order that the person may receive the favor, for while deficient [in the Error], this person had no favor. Because of this, a decrease occurred in the area where there is no favor [Yshá`Yâhuw 27: 10-11, YirmYâ´huw 16: 13]; when what was deficient was received, the person in need revealed himself as fullness, this meaning the finding of the Light of Truth which has shined towards him, because He is unalterable.

That is how the Anointed One was spoken of in the midst of them, they who had been troubled, so that they may accept the repentance and He may anoint them with the anointing portion7 [Sh’ówl predication, 1 Këph 3: 18-20]. The ointment is the compassion of the Father, Who will have favor on them. So those whom He has sealed are those who have become complete, because the filled vessels are those which are customarily coated with sealing wax.

But when the coating is rubbed off, the vessel may leak, and the reason of its deficiency is the cause of its coating wearing off. For then a breath of wind makes it evaporate out through the power of that [spirit] which possesses it. But from the vessel which is without defect, no seal is removed, nor does it leak, yet whatever it lacks is filled again by the perfect Father, Who is Goodness. He recognizes His plantings because He is the One Who has planted them in his Paradise (Pardë´ç – orchard-park). And His Paradise is His place of rest.

This means the completion in the cognition of the Father and these [plantings] are the words of His reflection. Each one of His words is the work of His singular will with the revelation of His Word. While they [plantings/words] were still depths of His cognition, the Word, Which was the First to emerge, causes them to be revealed, along with a mindset which speaks the one Word by means of silent favor. It has been called “imagination,” since they have been in it before being revealed. It [The completion of the plantation of His Pardë´ç] shall have come about by that time-period that He first was to emerge [Feast of Firstfruits] at the time-period when the will of Him Who willed it desired it [7th Trumpet, 6001], when it is in the will that the Father be at rest, and with whoever which He is pleased. Nothing happens without Him, nor does anything occur without the will of the Father, but His will is unsearchable.

His will is His footprint, but no one can recognize it, nor is it possible for one to scrutinize it in order to grasp Him. Yet when He is willing, this is what His will is, even if their view does not please them at all, by the view of evil spirits coveting the Father, for the Father knows the beginning of them all as well as their end. For at their end, He will question them to their face.

Now the End, is admitting recognition of the One Who is hidden [the Personhood], and This One, the Father, from Whom the Beginning [Yâhuwshúa` (Yshá`Yâhuw 48: 12, Disclosure 1: 17, 22: 13)] came forth, and to Whom will return everyone who have come from Him, when they have appeared for the honor and the joy of His name.

The father gave two names to the son

Though the name of the Father is of the Son [Yâ-hwéh], it is He Who first gave a name to the One Who came forth from Him [Yâhuwshúa`] Who was His Self, when He procreated Him as a Son [Songs 2: 7]. He gave Him His name which has belonged to Him [Yâ-hwéh (Deeds 2: 36)] – He being the One to Whom belongs the All which exists around Him, the Father. Whoever possesses the name [Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`], he has the Son. It is possible for them [evil spirits (see above)] to see the Son, however the [Son’s] name is not visible (for them), for it alone means the Secret of the not visible about to come, to ears completely blocked against it by means of the Hand of the Father. Moreover, as for the Father, His name is not spoken but is made apparent through a son. Thus, therefore, the name means greatness.

Who, then, has been able to pronounce the name belonging to Him, this name of greatness, [Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`] except Him alone to Whom the name belongs and the children of the name within whom the name of the Father is at rest, and who themselves in turn are at rest within His name? Since the Father is unbegotten, He alone is Who engendered it for Himself as a name before He had created the eternal ones (`Ëylâmíym), in order that the name of the Father should be upon their head as an owner - that is, the name in Truth, which is firm8 by His command through complete Power.

For the name is not drawn from lexicons nor is His name derived from common nomenclature, rather it is not visible. He gave a name to Himself alone, because He alone saw Him and because He alone was capable of giving Himself a name. For one who does not exist has no name. For what name would one give to him who does not exist? But the One Who exists,

exists also with His name, though He alone acknowledged it, when alone existed the Father to give Him the name of the Son, of the name of Him [Yâhuw-shúa`]. He did not, therefore, keep Him secretly hidden, rather, He was caused to be existed [meaning of Yâ-hwéh], when the Son Himself disclosed the name! [1 Timótheos 6: 13] The name [Yâ-hwéh], then, is that of the Father, just as the name of the Father means the beloved Son. Because otherwise where would He [the Son] find a name, outside of the Father? Yet someone will probably say to his companion, “Who would give a name to Someone who existed before Himself, as if, indeed, children did not receive their name from one of those who gave them birth?” [Yâhuwchânâ´n 14: 28, 17: 3] First, then, it is fitting for us to think upon this matter: What is the name?

[“Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`”] This is the true name which is not, therefore, the name from the Father [“Yâ-hwéh”], because it is the one which is the proper name [“Yâhuwshúa`”]. Therefore, He did not receive the name [“Yâhuw-”] on loan like others, according to the likeness into which each one is to be made. [e.g. a theophoric component (1 Moshéh 1: 26)] So this is the authoritative name, [Yâ´hu is the preterit/jussive conjugation of “Yâ-hwéh”], there is no one else to whom He gave it, so it was unnamed, unuttered, until the time when He Who is Complete Himself spoke of Him alone, so it is He Who has had the ability to pronounce His name and to see Him. [“Yâhuwshúa`” the hidden name (Glad Tidings of Phílippos 20)]

Then when it pleased Him that His (beloved) pronounced name [“Yâ-hwéh”] should become His Son, when He gave this name to Him [Deeds 2: 36], He Who has come forth from the depth [Sh’ówl] spoke of His hidden things, recognizing that the Father is absolute Goodness without evil [`Ivríym 9: 11].

For this reason, particularly, He caused this One [the Personhood] to emerge, in order that He might speak concerning the realm (Kingdom) and His place of rest [the Power] from which He had come forth, and in order that He might honor the Fullness, the greatness of His name and the sweetness of the Father.

Everyone should speak concerning the Place from which He have come forth, and of the region from which He received His essential being, one would hasten to return once again, and one needs from that Place – the Place where He had been – because one has tasted of that Place as one was nourished and grew. Yet His own Place of rest is His Fullness.

All the offspring from the Father, therefore, are fulfillments, and all His offspring have their roots in the One Who caused them all to grow up from within Himself. He assigned them their destinations. They, therefore, became manifest individually [To the Philippoçíym 2: 12] in order that they might become matured by means of their own cognition, for that Place to which they extend their cognitions, that Place is their Root, Which raises them upward through all heights to the Father.

They uphold His Head, which is rest for them, and they are supported, approaching Him as though to say that they have shared His Face by means of being equipped9 with Him [~the Root]. But they are not made manifest in this way, because they had not exalted themselves, nor have they detracted the honor of the Father nor have they thought of Him as small, nor harsh, nor wrathful, but as absolute Goodness, unperturbable, sweet, knowing all the spaces before they came into existence and had no need of instruction.

Such is the manner of those who possess from above something of this immeasurable Greatness, as they wait in hope for that unique and perfect One Who is there for them, so they do not go down to Sh’ówl, nor do they have envy nor moaning nor death within them, instead they rest in Him Who rests, without striving nor becoming twisted around the Truth. Rather, they themselves become the Truth so the Father is within them, and they are in the Father, being complete, being unseparated with the truly Good One, being in no way deficient in anything, so they are set at rest, and are refreshed by the spirit, yet they listen to their Root: They will be busy, concerned with which ones will find his Root, so not one will suffer loss to his self.

Such is the Place of the blessed ones; this is their Place. As for the ones remaining, then, may they know about their place, because it is not fitting for me, having come to be in the Place of rest, to speak of anything else. But it is within It that I shall come to exist, and to be concerned at all times, with the Father of the all [~Universe] and the true brothers, those

upon whom the love of the Father is poured out, and in whose midst there is no lack of Him.

They are the ones who show themselves in Truth, since they are within that true and eternal Life, and speak of the perfect Light, and are filled with the Seed of the Father [the name of Yâhuwshúa`], even Which is in his heart and in the Fullness, while his spirit rejoices in It and praises the One within Whom It was, because He is good. So His children are perfect and worthy of His name, because He is the Father. It is children of this kind that He loves.

The Way Of Darkness

1. But the way of darkness is crooked, and full of cursing; for it is the way of eternal death with punishment, in which way are the things that destroy the self, that is, image worship, over-confidence, the arrogance of power, fakery, double-heartedness, adultery, murder, plundering, haughtiness, transgression, deceit, malice, self-sufficiency, drugs, magic, avarice, lack of the fear of Yâ-hwéh.

BEFORE THE BEGINNING Since everyone—the gods of the world and people—says that nothing existed prior to chaos, I shall demonstrate that they all are mistaken, since they do not know the origin of chaos and its root. Here is the demonstration. How agreeable it is to all people to say that chaos is darkness! But actually chaos comes from a shadow that has been called darkness. The shadow comes from something existing from the beginning. So it is obvious that something in the beginning existed before chaos came into being, and that chaos came after what was in the beginning. Now let us consider the facts of the matter, and in particular what was in the beginning, from which chaos came. In this way the truth will be clearly demonstrated. BIRTH OF SOPHIA AND THE FORCES OF DARKNESS After the nature of the immortals was completed out of the infinite one, then a likeness called Sophia flowed out of Pistis, with the wish that something should come into being like the light that first existed. Immediately her wish appeared as a heavenly likeness with an incomprehensible greatness. This came between the immortals and those who came into being after them, like what is above. It was a veil separating people from the things above. Now, the eternal realm of truth has no shadow within it because the immeasurable light is everywhere within it. Outside it, however, is a shadow, and it was called darkness. From it appeared a power over the darkness. And the powers that came into being afterward called the shadow the limitless chaos. From it every kind of deity was brought forth, one after another, along with the whole place. Consequently, the shadow too is subsequent to what was in the beginning. The shadow appeared in the abyss, which is derived from Pistis, whom we have mentioned. The shadow perceived that there was one stronger than it. It was jealous, and when it became self-impregnated, it immediately bore envy. Since that day the principle of envy has appeared in all of the aeons and their worlds. But envy was found to be an aborted fetus without any spirit in it. It became like the shadows in a great watery substance. Then the bitter wrath that came into being from the shadow was cast into a region of chaos. Since that day a watery substance has appeared. What was enclosed in the shadow flowed forth, appearing in chaos. Just as all the useless afterbirth of one who bears a little child falls, likewise the matter that came into being from the shadow was cast aside.
