11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the desire of flesh nor of the desire of man, but of Elohim. 14 And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought-forth of a father, complete in favour and truth. 15 Yoḥanan bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has become before me, because He was before me.’ ” 16 And out of His completeness we all did receive, and favour upon favour, 17 for the Torah was given through Mosheh – the favour and the truth came through יהושע Messiah. 18 No one has ever seen Elohim. b The only brought-forth Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He did declare. 11. He came unto His own, yet His own did not join to Him, 12. But as many as accepted Him, He gave privilege to them to become sons of Yâ-hwéh - to those that believe on His name! [1 Yâhuwchânâ´n 3: 1, MattithYâ´huw 13: 38, 5: 9 To the Romans 8: 14, 2 Qorinthíym 5: 19] 13. The ones who were neither begotten from bloodlines, nor from the will of the flesh, nor from the will of man; instead, who were begotten from Yâ-hwéh! 14. And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us2, and we perceived His Worth, a Worth as of the Sole-of-kin from a Father full of favor and truth! 15. Yâhuwchânâ´n testified about Him and exclaimed and said: “This One was of Whom I said: ‘He Who comes after me has precedence of me because He was before3 me!’” 16. And we all shall have received from His repletion of kindness, and Favor in place of the favor 17. which the Law through Moshéh had given, the Favor and the Truth which through Yâhuwshúa` the Deliverer has come to exist! [Romans 5: 19-21] 18. “No man has ever discerned the Power (’Ël)”, declared that One Who is the sole-of-kin Son, the One being in the bosom4 of the Father. 2 This is a reference to the fact that Yâhuwshúa` chose the First day of the Feast of Tabernacles, to be born. This is calculated using the references in Luwqá’ 1: 5 (He also chose the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles to be circumcised.) He made this pre-ordained Birthday an eternal Feast Day. So to NOT celebrate birthdays ISN’T a doctrine from Yâ-hwéh, however, remember that the Roman Papal calendar is not the one of Yâ-hwéh, and that the traditional method of birthday celebrations are pagan. (Dâ´niyyË´’l 7: 25) 3 Yâhuwshúa`’s preexistence, because Yâhuwchânâ´n was physically 6 lunar months older than Yâhuwshúa` 4 Greek kólpos (ton kólpon) is also translatable as “bay”, which denotes that Yâhuwshúa` came out from within His Father as He started as the First and will again be reunited into Him.
