Yisrâ’Ë´l was also granted this blessing with the condition of giving thanks to Him. äDeuteronomy 12:15-16 "However, according to all the longings of your own self you may slaughter and you may eat meat, according to the blessing of Yâ-hwéh your Mighty Ones that He gave to you. Within all of your gates: the unclean and the clean [meat], one may eat it like the gazelle or like the ibex; however the blood you must not eat - on the ground you shall pour it like the waters..." [For a thorough analysis on the translation of the above verse, click HERE] ...then giving thanks with offerings: (then they were to eat the tithe for Yâ-hwéh before Yahweh at the place He chose (verse 17-18), or do the burnt offerings if they were too far away (verse 26-27) But this is the new covenant way to offer thanks: Hosea 14:2 "Return, Israel, to Yâ-hwéh your Mighty Ones, because you fell down by your sin. Take words with you, and return to Yâ-hwéh; say to Him: 'Bear away all our sin and receive us well, so we may offer the bulls of our lips..." This explains these verses in the Post-Advent Scriptures: 1 Timotheos 4:1-5 - ¶ But the Spirit speaks outspokenly that in latter seasons, some shall instigate to revolt from the persuasion, giving heed to misleading spirits and instructions of gods in the fakery of false words, their own conscience being cauterized: ä ...instructing to abstain from meats, which Yâ-hwéh created for reception with thanksgiving for the persuaded, who also acknowledge the Truth. Because every creature of Yâ-hwéh is virtuous, and not even one is to be rejected, being received with thanksgiving, For it is purified through Yâ-hwéh's Word with supplication. ä However the restriction on eating blood continued: Acts 15:20 "Nevertheless, let it be written to them to abstain from the defilement of what is offered to the worshipped images, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood." Therefore the Leviticus 11 food laws do not annul the blessing of Nóach, just as the Law does not annul the promise of ’Avrâhâ´m. Both laws are fulfilled through our persuasion on Yâhuwshúa`. Newcomer Christians: most (near-miss) "sacred name" groups advocate obeying the Leviticus 11 food laws by eating only Kosher food approved by those that conform to the regulations of the Jewish Halakhic law framework. It presents a major obstacle for Christians to continue seeking Truth, when they already realize this is an incorrect teaching. It is a major issue for these groups which they quarrel about emotionally, even resorting to insults, sending those who seek Truth from them scampering away, recognizing that this spirit they are in is NOT the right one. Our no-holds barred no-compromise proscriptural website tackles this issue comprehensively by writing all the big picture, what all scriptures say about the issue of clean versus unclean food, which everyone seems to miss somehow, except Páulus and the first century convocation. For the record, about myself, I do eat clean food, I do not ever eat unclean food or blood or strangled things. My food is cleansed by the Word. My food is cleansed by His Word through supplication. Any other name will not work. Before you read further, empty your mind of whatever you may have heard before; about this page, about me, about what your Pastor/Rabbi/Priest taught you, even of what you think of this issue. I am not advocating that anyone can eat anything anytime any way. I am not advocating that everything is already clean. Why are there differences in doctrines among groups who worship Yâ-hwéh? Groups selecting which scriptures to believe and disbelieving and ignoring others is a sure sign of a cult, though they may have been around for a LONG time. Individuals who do this are either placing more trust in a group's doctrine than scripture, or are ignorant of the contradicting verses. You can tell which of these is the case by teaching them these scriptures. Yet, if at any time scriptures seem to contradict each other, or anyone's belief about what other scriptures say, then one of two things are happening, either: 1. The translation is bad, or 2. The understanding of the said scriptures is erroneous. In the case of this topic, BOTH of these problems are involved. An individual Truth-seeker will humble himself when reading scripture, to not lean to his/her own understanding, and will reconcile seemingly contradictory scriptures by researching to understand how they agree and changing one's mind. But to go to the root of the problem, the Spirit of Truth is sent by the Father by the name of the Son (John 14:26), and those who have a wrong name for Him, even a near-miss name, do not have this One Spirit which would give them unity of doctrine, and therefore do not have access to the mind of the Anointed in order to understand. The right name prevents divisions 10. So I implore you, my brothers, about the name of our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed, that ye maintain the same Word for all, so there will be no schisms among you! And be ye completely equipped within the same understanding and within the same knowledge! [1 Qorinthiym (Corinthians) 1: 10] The groups advocating the material interpretation of food laws have the following things in common, discussed below: 1) a materialistic interpretation of scriptures which are spiritually understood. 2) the nerve to declare as "uninspired" whatever scripture contradicts their doctrines. http://yahuwshua.org/en/kosher.htm#for_those_questioning_the_translation
