Dwell in the Human spirit of the Anointed and live!
9. But ye are not in the flesh, rather in the spirit, if indeed a spirit of Yâ-hwéh dwells in you [1 Yâhuwchânâ´n 4: 1-2]; but if anyone does not hold the spirit of the Anointed28, this one is not His.
10. Yet if the Anointed is held in you, the body indeed is held dead on account of sin, but the spirit holds life through rectification!
11. So if the spirit of the raised-up Yâhushúa` from among the dead dwells in you, He Who raised up the Anointed from among the dead will make also your mortal bodies to live through the indwelling spirit of His in you.
12. So then, my brothers, debtors we are, but not to the flesh to walk29 by the flesh,
13. For if ye live in the flesh, ye are about to die. But if by the spirit ye put to death the practices of the body, ye will live!
Footnotes
28 The spirit of Truth, the Advocate, is the human spirit of the Anointed, which could not be poured out on us until He committed it into the hands of the Father when He died. Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 14: 26 documents that the Father sends this spirit to us by the name of Yâhushúa`.
Distinguishing the spirits of Yâ-hwéh from the Lie
1 Yâhuwchânâ´n 4: 1-6
1. Beloved, do not believe every spirit; instead scrutinize the spirits whether they are from
Yâ-hwéh, because many predicators of the Lie have gone out into the world.
2. By this, ye recognize the spirit of Yâ-hwéh: every spirit which professes that Yâhuwshúa` is the Anointed One Who has come in flesh, is from Yâ-hwéh;
3. But every spirit that does not profess Yâhushúa`15, is not from Yâ-hwéh — and this is that spirit of the anointed of the Lie (mâshíyach ha-shéqer)16, which ye have heard that it shall come, and now it is already within the world, [contrast Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 14: 26]
4. But ye are from Yâ-hwéh, little children, and ye have overcome them, because greater is He Who is in you than he who is within the world!
5. They [spirits] are from the world; due to this, they talk from the world, and the world hears them.
6. We are from Yâ-hwéh; the one acknowledging Yâ-hwéh hears us, but he that is not from Yâ-hwéh does not hear us. From these things we recognize the spirit of the Truth and the spirit of the fraud!
16 Strong’s #08267 shéqer is what is found where the Aramaic term found here, dagâlâ’, is used in Peshitta Exodus 20: 16 and Peshitta Proverbs 6: 17. It is the same term used in what we have translated as preacher/predicator of the Lie (“false prophet”) and teacher of the Lie (“false teacher”).
29 Greek: “live”. This is less logical than the Aramaic “walk” since fleshly living leads to death, not life.
Bnëy Yâ-hwéh
14. For as many as are led by Yâ-hwéh’s spirit, these are Bnëy Yâ-hwéh! (Sons of Yâ-hwéh) [Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 1: 14, MattithYâ´huw 13: 38, 1 Yâhuwchânâ´n 3: 1]
15. For ye did not receive a spirit of bondage again unto fear, instead ye received a spirit of adoption, whereby we call our Father: “’Avíy!” (My Father)
16. So the spirit Itself bears witness to our spirits that we are sons of Yâ-hwéh!
17. And if sons, also heirs: heirs indeed of
Yâ-hwéh, even joint-heirs of Yâhushúa` the Anointed, though perhaps we suffer together with Him, in order that we also may be honored together with Him
1 Yâhuwchânâ´n 3: 1
1. ¶ See what affectionate love the Father has given to us, in order that we should be called, and we are: “Bnëy Yâ-hwéh”! (Sons of Yâ-hwéh) [Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 1: 14, MattithYâ´huw 13: 38, To the Romans 8: 14]
Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 1: 14
14. And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us2, and we perceived His Worth, a Worth as of the Sole-of-kin from a Father full of favor and truth!
MattithYâ´huw 13: 38
38. And the field is the world; and the good Seed, these are the Sons of Yâ-hwéh96; but the darnel are the sons of Bliyyá`al (worthlessness),
Footnotes
96 Greek scripture copies: “the Kingdom”. See verse 43: it is clear Yâ-hwéh was changed. See what scripture says about these: But as many as accepted Him, He gave privilege to them to become sons of Yâ-hwéh - to those that believe on His name! Everyone performing the justification is procreated from Him. As many as are led by Yâ-hwéh’s spirit, these are
Bnëy Yâ-hwéh!
Freedom from sin and death
1. ¶ Then now there is not any condemnation to those who are within the Anointed Yâhushúa`, who do not walk by the flesh,
2. for the Law of the spirit of Life within the Anointed Yâhushúa` has set you free from the Law of sin and death
3. because of the inability of the Law to be fulfilled (v. 4), in that it was unable to be fulfilled on account of the flesh; therefore on behalf of sin, the Power, when He sent His own Son in a likeness of the flesh of sin, has condemned the sin in the flesh,
4. in order that the Law’s righteous judgment should be fulfilled in us, who walk not by the flesh, rather by the spirit.
5. For they that are in the flesh, mind the things of the flesh, but those in the spirit, the things of the spirit.
6. For the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the spirit is life and peace
7. For that very reason, the mindset of the flesh is for the Adversary27 against Yâ-hwéh, because it is not subject to the Law of Yâ-hwéh, for neither can it be!
8. So they that are in the flesh cannot please
Yâ-hwéh.

27 The Greek translation says “enmity” or “adversarial”.
The Aramaic translation says “Bá`al-Zvúwv” was here, which means that the `Ivríyth (Hebrew) original must have had “for Sâţâ´n”, which we translate here into English.
