15. In Your hand are My time-periods, rescue Me from the hand of My enemies (16.) and from the ones pursuing Me,

17. Yâ-hwéh, do not let Me be shamed because I have called to You [by name]73
let the criminals be shamed, they shall be brought down into Sh’ówl,
18. The speech of the Lie shall be bound silent, which dictates arrogant lawlessness with haughtiness and contempt against the justified.
19. How abundant is Your goodness which You have stored up for ones who fear You, You have worked it for the ones taking refuge in You in front of the sons of ’Âthâ´m,
20. You conceal them [Your goodness (v.19)] in the hiding place of Your Presence away from the plots of man [Philipposíym 1: 16], You store them in a tabernacle away from the contradiction of languages,
21. Blessed is Yâ-hwéh because He has caused His kindness to be extraordinary for Me in a city under siege!

1. For the conductor, (with stringed instruments), a melody, a sung-song. May [Yâ-hwéh]177 be favorable to us and may He bless us, may He shine His Face with us…<pause>
2. for Your Way to be recognized in the earth, Your deliverance among all of the heathen masses.

14. O mighty Ones of hosts, return now! Regard from the heavens and see and visit this vine
15. and repair what Your right Hand had planted, and [look (v. 14)] upon the son of ’Âthâ´m You have strengthened against Yourself:
16. one being burned with fire, one being cut away; they will die due to the rebuke of Your Face!
17. Let Your hand be upon the Man of Your right Hand, on the Son of ’Âthâ´m Whom You have strengthened for Yourself
18. so we will not backslide away from You: You shall give us life and we shall call on Your name!
19. Yâ-hwéh, O mighty Ones of hosts, cause us to return! Shine Your Face and we shall be saved!
Song 94:1-23
The folly of leaving the Truth for the Lie
1. A song of Dâwíth of the fourth day of the week. The mighty One of vengeance is Yâ-hwéh; shine forth the Power of vengeance!
2. Rise up, Judge of the earth; pay back the recompense upon the proud ones!
3. Until when shall the criminals exist, Yâ-hwéh? Until when shall criminals jump for joy?
4. They who dictate arrogance belch it forth; all of the workers of the wicked trouble (lawlessness) boast proudly;
5. they crush Your people, Yâ-hwéh, and they afflict Your inheritance, [pure ones – Epheçíym 1: 18]
6. they slay the widow and the sojourner, and they murder the parentless ones,
7. and they say, “Yâ´hu won’t see, and the mighty Ones of Ya`aqóv won’t find out.”
8. But find out, O brutish ones among the people; and stupid ones, when will you realize it?
9. Does the One fastening on an ear, wouldn’t He hear it? Or the One fashioning the eye, wouldn’t He pay attention to it?
10. One Who instructs heathen masses, wouldn’t He reprove, the One teaching humanity (’Âthâ´m) knowledge?
11. Yâ-hwéh is the One knowing the schemes of humanity, that they are futile. [1 Qorinthíym 3: 20]
12. O happy blessings of the valiant man whom You discipline, Yâ´hu, so You may teach him from Your Instructions,
13. for him to be given tranquility from the days of evil until the corruption269 shall be exchanged to the Wickedness270 [ZkharYâ´hu 5: 8],
14. because Yâ-hwéh will not abandon His people and He shall never forsake His inheritance [pure ones – Epheçíym 1: 18]
15. although the Testimony271 of justification [Romans 10: 9-10] will retreat into judgment and after it all of the ones upright of heart!...<pause>
16. “Who will stand up for Me against the evildoers? Who will take a stand for Me against the workers of the wicked trouble (lawlessness)?” [MattithYâ´huw 7: 23]
17. If Yâ-hwéh had not been a Help for me, my self (néphesh) would have nearly stayed in silence.
18. If I had said, “My foot slipped”, Your kindness, Yâ-hwéh, would support me;
19. With the multitude of my griefs in my insides, my self (néphesh) takes delight in Your consolations.
20. Would the throne of the engulfing ruin272 [Yshá`Yâhuw 47: 11] be allied with You? The one fashioning trouble by decree,
21. to hunt273 for the life (néphesh) of the justified so they condemn as guilty the blood of the innocent,
22. but Yâ-hwéh became mine for a high Refuge, and my mighty Ones for the Rock of my refuge!
23. He will bring back against them their wicked trouble (lawlessness) and by their own evil, it will cause them to be cut off; [Yshá`Yâhuw 47: 11, Howshë´a` 8: 5-7] Yâ-hwéh our mighty Ones will exterminate them.
Song 119:133-176
133. Direct my footsteps with Your Saying [Romans 10: 9-10] and do not let any wicked trouble (lawlessness)352 get mastery within me,
134. ransom me from the extortion of man so I may keep Your charges, [v. 138]
135. shine Your Face on Your servant and teach me Your prescriptions;
136. rivulets of tears descend from my eyes over how they do not observe Your instructions,

146. I have called on You! Save me so I may keep Your Testimonies preserved!”
147. I have come to meet with the morning twilight and I’d cry for help for Your Word I have hoped for,
148. my eyes have encountered daybreak to study on Your Saying, [Romans 10: 9-10]
149. heed my voice according to Your kindness, Yâ-hwéh, according to Your procedure, make me alive!
150. Those who have pursued wicked schemes have approached, but they have distanced themselves from Your instructions,
151. near are You, Yâ-hwéh, and all of Your commandments are true.
152. Long ago I knew from Your Testimonies that You did establish them for eternity;

154. argue my legal case, and act as a kinsman-Redeemer for Your Saying [Romans 10: 9-10], make me alive!
155. Distant from the criminals is salvation because they have not investigated Your prescriptions,

157. My persecutors are [also] numerous, and my oppressors! I have not turned aside from Your Testimonies,

160. The Head of Your Word is Truth [Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 17: 17, 1Qorinthíym 11: 3] and all the legal procedures of Your justification353 are for eternity,
161. S. rulers have pursued me undeservedly, but it is from Your Word my heart has been in awe, [MattithYâ´huw 10: 28]

163. the Lie have I hated and I have regarded it as an abomination: I love Your instruction354
164. Seven times in the day I boastfully praise You concerning the procedures of Your justification,
165. abundant shâlówm (peace, completeness, reconciliation) belongs to the ones loving Your instructions [1 Yâhuwchânâ´n 3: 23] so there is no means of stumbling for them,

Ecclesiastes 8:1
1 Who is like a wise one? And who knows the meaning of a matter? A man’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the hardness of his face is changed.
Yshá`Yâhuw 60:1-3
1. “Rise, shine, O Yruwshâláim, because your Light has come and the Worthiness of Yâ-hwéh has dawned above you!
2. Because look, the darkness, it covers the Land, and a dark cloud the congregations, but above you dawns Yâ-hwéh and His Worth is visible over you,
3. so the heathen masses shall walk to your Light and kings to the brightness of your Dawning. Arouse, O sleeper, and rise up from among the dead, and the Anointed One shall shine upon you!330 [’Epheçíym 5: 14]
330 Most Christian sources see the relation of this quote conserved in ’Epheçíym to this passage and think it resembles v.2. It was evidently removed from here by post-advent Masoretic revisionist scribes seeking to deny the Anointed One, or by others to deny the resurrection hope. Reviewing this passage, here is where it fits. Note the mention of ones returned from being slain without a specific resurrection event mentioned, and its timing after the heathens enter.

16. Thus let your Light shine before the sons of ’Âthâ´m so that they may see your good works, and may praise your Father Who is in the heavens.
