Come let us return to Yahweh
Howshë´a` 6:1-11
1. “Come and let us return towards Yâ-hwéh because he [the impostor] is who tore to pieces but He will mend us, he [the impostor] slew but He will bind our wounds: [5 Moshéh 32: 39-40]
2. After two days [2,000 years (4001-6001)] He will revive us, on the third day (7000), He will restore us so we may live in His presence.
3. So let us acknowledge, let us eagerly hurry to acknowledge Yâ-hwéh! His coming will appear like a daybreak, and He will come to us like the winter rain, like the spring rain watering the earth.”
Sure, then, but while He waits for us, the offenses pile up
4. What should I do for you, ’Ephráyim? What should I do for you, “Yehuwthâ´h”, when your (pl.) kindness is like the morning fog and like the early-morning dew which goes away?
5. Due to this, I shall have mown down35 your predicators; I will have slain them with the Word of My mouth, so your legal right to Light would emerge
6. because kindness I desire and not slaughter, and the acknowledgment of the mighty Ones instead of entire-burnt-offerings, [MattithYâ´huw 9: 13]
7. but they are like a human who violated a covenant, there [re. v. 6, the covenant
of acknowledgment] they have acted treacherously against Me;
8. Gal`ë´th (Witness heap) is a city of the workers of the Wicked Trouble (LXX: Vanity) supplanting the water36, [YirmYâ´huw 2: 13]
9. so like a plundering band waiting in ambush for an existing man (’iysh) [(name-professing believer) Glad Tidings of the Truth], they would assassinate a community of priests of The Way [of Yâ-hwéh] unanimously37, because they have worked an evil plan
10. about the house of Yisrâ’Ë´l, I have seen a premeditated horror there: Prostitution is [planned] for ’Ephráyim, Yisrâ’Ë´l will have defiled itself!
The evil plan, the premeditated horror:
11. Indeed Yehuwthâ´h [the impostor and the traitor] shall have appointed a mowing for you [defiled Yisrâ’Ë´l (v. 10)] with My restoring the captivity of My people [1st resurrection]…
5 mosheh 32:39-40
39 See now that I, I am He, And there is no Elohim besides Me. I put to death and I make alive. I have wounded, and I heal. And from My hand no one delivers!
40 For I lift My hand to the heavens, And shall say: As I live forever,
MattithYâ´huw’s call
MattithYâ´huw 9:9-13
9. And Yâhuwshúa`, going along from there, saw a man sitting at the tax-office called MattithYâ´huw, and says to him, “Follow Me.” And having arisen, he followed Him.
10. And it came to pass at His reclining to eat in the house, that - look! Many tax-collectors and sinners, having come, were reclining to eat with Yâhuwshúa` and His pupils.
11. And when the Pharushíym had seen it, they said to His pupils, “Why does your Teacher eat with the transgressors and sinners?”
12. But Yâhuwshúa` having heard it, said to them, “Those who are strong have not a need for a Physician to cure them, rather they who are ill.
13. But when you go, learn what this scripture means: ‘Kindness I desire, and not slaughter, [and the acknowledgement of the mighty Ones instead of burnt offerings]’ [Howshë´a` 6: 6] for I did not come to call the righteous unto repentance, rather, the sinners!”
YirmYâ´huw 2:12-13
12. “The heavens are appalled at this, but (let the earth [Bar-Nâvíy 11: 2]) shudder the more with exceeding horror,” declares Yâ-hwéh,
13. “because My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the Fountain of living waters, to dig for themselves cisterns; broken cisterns which will not be able to hold waters.
Chapter 11:1-2 Bar-Nâvíy
Immersion and the Gallows-cross prefigured in the Tenákh
1. Let us further inquire whether Yâ-hwéh took care to foreshadow anything concerning the water [of immersion] and the gallows-cross. Concerning the water, indeed, it is written, in reference to the sons of Yisrâ’Ë´l, that they should not receive that immersion which leads to the remission of sins, but should procure Another for themselves.
2. For the predicator therefore declares, “Be appalled, O heaven, and let the earth tremble the more at this,” declares Yâ-hwéh, “because this people have committed two evil things: they have forsaken Me, the Fountain of living waters, and have hewn out for themselves broken cisterns that will not hold waters.” [YirmYâ´huw 2: 12-13]
